I HAVE AN ESTIMATE FROM MY INSURANCE COMPANY, NOW WHAT?
Getting an estimate from your insurance company is a great first step.
You can choose to have your repairs completed at our shop by bringing in the estimate and having us set an appointment for the repairs. We'll take it from there.
CAN I GET OEM PARTS?
There are a few different parts options when it comes to repairs: OEM (from the dealer), aftermarket (created by another company using moulds of OEM parts - preferrably CAPA certified), reman (parts from other vehicles that were repaired to be like new) and salvaged parts (parts from other vehicles; some needing repairs and some in great condition).
With insurance estimates, the provider outlines what parts to use depending on a few parameters (ie. age of vehicle).
If paying for the repairs yourself, we can price out each option and help you decide what the best choice would be for your repairs.
HOW LONG WILL MY REPAIR TAKE?
Repair times differ depending on the scope of work. We provide repair times once we have created an estimate.
WILL THE COLOUR MATCH?
We strive to ensure that we provide an accurate colour match. We tint in-house and are able to tweak the formula to match your vehicle.
I TOOK MY CAR HOME AND NOTICED SOMETHING WAS WRONG, NOW WHAT?
We have systems in place to avoid this but should something fall through the cracks, please do not hesitate to contact us immediately so that we can rectify the issue and ensure your satisfaction.
POST REPAIR CARE
After a repair it's important to follow a few basic steps:
Do not wash for 48 hours
Avoid parking under trees as tree sap can mar a vehicles finish
Do not spill gasoline or any other vehicle fluids/solvents on the new finish (for 30 days)
Do not polish or apply coatings for 90 days post refinishing to ensure the exterior coatings cure completely
FORMS OF PAYMENT?
We accept all major credit cards, debit and cash.
We also accept payments by email money transfer, but this must arrive prior to pick up of your vehicle.
Unfortunately we cannot exempt you from taxes, even when paying cash.
CAN YOU WAIVE MY DEDUCTIBLE?
We are unable to waive your deductible. That is illegal on both the shops part and the consumers part. Sorry.
WHEN DO I PAY?
Payments are made upon vehicle pick up/release. This includes deductibles.
IS THERE A DEPOSIT REQUIRED?
Yes, for non-insurance repairs, we require a 30% non-refundable deposit on parts only to book in your repairs.
This way we can order your parts immediately and should there be an issue, we are able to return parts and cover the re-stocking fee.
DO YOU GUARANTEE YOUR WORK?
Yes, we guarantee all repairs, except for rust, with a lifetime guarantee.
